Greetings in the precious Name of Jesus Christ our LORD! I pray everyone is enjoying the wonderful warm weather. As you look around the flowers and trees are blooming, the grass is green and growing plus, the birds are singing. In John 10:10 JESUS says, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”. God wants you to experience life to the full.
The 3rd Annual “Unity In The Community Revival” was exciting and many participated in the event held at Cornerstone Community Church. I would like to personally thank you for giving of your time, offerings and presence to the Community Revival. We had over six hundred people attend and collected over $2000. God is Good! All The Time! Our Linden Area Ministerial Association's goal was accomplished! Getting our community together to share One Lord, One Spirit and One Body in one place!
In my devotional book, Holiness and High Country, by A.F. Harper; he writes about A Gift Of Faith. In Mark 11:24, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. (KJV)
He speaks of W.W. Clay testifying of seeking the baptism of the Holy Ghost. He had accepted His will, but there was no sign of the Spirit’s infilling. Then Someone seemed to say, “What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” I was afraid I would be mistaken about the experience, and I told the Holy Spirit so. Again came the verse of scripture to me, and I seemed to hear a whisper, “If you believe that HE has given you what you have asked for, why remain longer on your knees?” I arose, and there came into my heart such a peace and sweet rest? I knew HE had come.”
Faith for entire sanctification is simply believing God’s Word concerning heart holiness. When John Wesley was asked, “What is that faith whereby we are sanctified?” he answered: “First believe that God has promised to save you from all sin, and to fill you with all holiness; secondly, believe that HE is able thus to save to the uttermost all that come unto God through HIM; thirdly, believe that HE is willing, as well as able, to save you to the uttermost; to purify you from all sin, and fill up all your heart with LOVE. Believe fourthly, that HE is not only able, but willing to do it now! Not when you come to die; not at any distant time; not tomorrow, but today. HE will then enable you to believe, it is done, according to HIS WORD.”
“Tis done: Thou dost this moment save, With full salvation bless; Redemption through THY blood I have, And spotless love and peace. – Wesley Hymns
As I have challenged you to read through the Bible this year I pray the HOLY SPIRIT is granting you understanding of HIS WORD. And then the more you learn the more you will instill it into your life. God has made us for Himself, and our heart should be hungry for a relationship with HIM. There is just one thing that keeps us from our heart's desire--the unwillingness to give ourselves fully over to HIM. Little by little as we pray, read and study the Word of God, The Holy One of God will help us to gain understanding of the WORD of GOD... (Prov. 9:10) It is Living for JESUS! Becoming His cheerleader -– encouraging others to try what you know to be the TRUTH! As you ponder what has been written let me close with Paul's words in Philippians 4:8-9:
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
Have a blessed month of ministry and may God help you to see clearer the Charge to Keep -- Living for JESUS! Blessings!
In Christ Jesus,
Bro. Tony Antonelli
