June 2016

June is here already, where does the time go?  I pray you enjoyed reading through the Book of Mark, now I want to carry on with the Book of Luke.  Please do this at your leisure it is just a challenge for us to be on the same page as we accomplish reading and studying the word of God.  2 Timothy 2:15 is good for us to know and the reason is for 2 Timothy 3:16-17.  The very reason for us to know the WORD of GOD is to use it correctly in being the most like HIM! 

In Matthew 6:33 it says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things.  Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” (NKJV)

Each of us has difficulties in our lives.  However, the main thing for us to be doing is to seek after the LORD.  I pray you are doing this in your own way.  Yet the Bible gives us clear instructions on how to go about seeking HIM.  I do understand time is scarce in most of our lives to focus on studying the WORD of GOD.  What a Preacher once challenged me with was if it is important enough to you, you will make time for it.  We are guilty by what we choose to do.  I do ask each one of you to continue to seek GOD as you ask HIM to create in you a burning desire to get to know HIM on a more intimate level.  HE is our HEAVENLY FATHER and wants us to become more like HIS SON, JESUS THE SON OF MAN! 

This month is exciting in that, we look forward to Annual Conference at Frazer UMC again this year.  Times to commune with our colleagues, swap stories, and learn what our conference has accomplished for the KINGDOM this year.  Please be in prayer for this most special time in our year. 

As you enjoy time away on vacations and other family events we will be praying for your safety and being a blessing to all in whom you come in contact.  May God inspire you to be the most you can be through reading HIS WORD and allowing HIM to speak to your heart and soul.  Please remember Hebrews 13:8.
